Sony has signed a five-year contract with New Zealand service logistics company Service Plus to launch a new Auckland Sony Service Centre operation with exclusive rights for all repairs and repair logistics for all Sony consumer electronics and IT products in the Auckland region. Navman has outsourced the service of its New Zealand in-car satellite navigation devices to locally owned service logistics specialist Service Plus. The deal will sharpen Navman’s competitive edge by making it faster and easier for consumers and retailers to get problems resolved, says Navman’s regional service manager, Ben Case.
