The people behind Service Plus have a broad-ranging set of business skills honed from multiple lifetimes of experience in the technology sector in New Zealand and internationally.

Sam Williams, Founder and Business Development Director

Sam Williams is the founder and Business Development Director of Service Plus Group. Initially a laptop service technician for Portables Plus in 1994, Sam grew the role to develop a new service division within Portables Plus. He then drove the creation of an independent service company called Portable Computer Services, which later became Service Plus. Sam has a philosophy of appointing great people to enhance service and challenge preconceptions. “My role in the business is to provide direction and develop relationships. We have a fantastic team to execute the vision,” he says.

Aaron Clouston, General Manager

Aaron Clouston has extensive experience in ICT service delivery with over 15 years in the field – the last ten of those with Service Plus. Aaron managed the transition of Portable Computer Services when it was bought out by Service Plus and more recently managed the purchase and integration of the Sony Solutions Centre. As a Bachelor of Business majoring in IT Aaron believes great people supported by best of breed systems lead to world class service excellence and satisfied customers.

Phil Nolloth, Finance Manager

Phil started with the Service Plus Group in May 2008. Phil is a Chartered Accountant with a wide breadth of experience in both local and overseas public and private companies from many different industries throughout his career.

Phil was also treasurer for the local Meadwood Community Creche and Meadowood Community House for 9 years during which they twice won the North Shore Community and Social Services Award for “Excellence in Accounting Practices”.

John Quirk, Director

John has an extensive and impressive track record with 25 years experience in the ICT industry. John is currently Executive Director of strategic investment and advisory firm Howard & Company and acts as a senior management advisor to a number of companies at various stages of development. John has held numerous senior management roles within a number of landmark companies including Axon, Wang New Zealand, Southmark Computers, Mi Services Group and Digital Equipment Corporation. John is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
